May 1st is the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker. This silent saint, who was given the important task of caring and watching over the Virgin Mary and Jesus, now cares for and watches over the entire Church and models for everyone the dignity of human work. We pray that quarantine restrictions are soon lifted, our community is restored and everyone returns to work - relieving financial stress placed on our families. More importantly, we pray our churches reopen so we may participate in the Holy Mass where all the graces and merits of our Lord’s sacrifice are applied to our souls. St. Joseph, pray for us.
